Comparing Glucose Data, Made Simple
With Dexcom CLARITY’s compare feature, Dexcom users can evaluate glucose improvement over time. Identify problem areas with the comprehensive data tool and evaluate if diabetes management solutions are working.
Easily Identify Patterns that Matter
Dexcom CLARITY’s Overlay Report compiles each day of glucose trend data into a weekly overview. The Overlay report puts into context the frequency, duration and intensity of patterns of hypoglycaemia and hyperglycaemia. This gives users the ability to prioritise problems and find quick solutions.
Dexcom CLARITY offers immediate insight to patterns and potential management solutions to discuss with the user’s healthcare professional team.
Standardised Reporting:
Dexcom CLARITY’s Ambulatory Glucose Profile (AGP) is a licensed, standardised glucose report. AGP provides a big picture view of your diabetes management and is only one part of understanding your glucose patterns.
Users can also print, email and download PDF reports in minutes.
Dexcom users can upload glucose data from a Dexcom CGM device and then view the data in easy-to-read graphs on Dexcom CLARITY.

Yes. If you currently use the Dexcom G6 or Dexcom G5 Mobile Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System and have downloaded the app, then you have already created a Dexcom account and should use this to log in to CLARITY – please do not create a new one. Your username and password can also be used with the Dexcom CLARITY Uploader tool.
If you currently use a Dexcom Receiver, you may already have a Dexcom account from ordering or using Share and should use this to log in to CLARITY.
If you are having trouble logging in with your login credentials, you can reset your username and/or password. Call NZMS Diabetes Customer Care on 0800 500 226 for further assistance.
Both Dexcom G6 and Dexcom G5 Mobile CGM System works with Dexcom CLARITY, Dexcom’s cloud-based diabetes management system. Start viewing your reports by logging into the CLARITY software from your desktop computer using a compatible platform. Your healthcare professional will email or print out an invitation that will instruct you on how to share your CGM data with them. This can be done through mail/email before or during your clinic visit.
For more information, contact your healthcare professional or NZMS Diabetes during business hours on 0800 500 226.
It is possible to use both a smart device and a Receiver to provide CGM data. The smart device system streams data to the CLARITY server, where that data is made available for reports after three hours. The Dexcom Receiver requires connection to a computer to upload the data periodically.
If you upload your Receiver to the CLARITY home user account, you can share your home user account data with your healthcare professional. Your clinic will need to give you a sharing invitation via email or printed invitation to initiate sharing. Alternatively, you can share your data with a healthcare professional by having your clinic upload your Dexcom CGM Receiver using the Dexcom CGM accessory cable directly to Dexcom CLARITY for healthcare professionals.
If the patient uses a smart device part of the time and a Receiver part of the time, then CLARITY needs data from both to provide accurate statistics.
Using cloud-based technology, Dexcom CLARITY automatically takes glucose data from the Dexcom G6 or Dexcom G5 Mobile CGM System 3 hours after the data is stored. Dexcom CLARITY also combines your glucose data with events such as exercise and meals that are entered via your Dexcom app or Receiver. Although data is automatically sent to Dexcom CLARITY, you have the ability to view data once logged into the system.
For patients using a Dexcom Receiver, data is uploaded to the clinic each time the patient connects their Receiver to their computer.
For patients using a compatible smart device, data is displayed automatically except for the most recent 3 hours. For data to be sent to Dexcom CLARITY, a stable internet connection is required.
Your clinic uses their Dexcom CLARITY clinic account to invite you to share data with them on an ongoing basis. The invitation includes a sharing code that you enter in your Dexcom CLARITY account on the Settings page. You can also accept the Sharing Code using the Dexcom CLARITY app.
Once you’ve entered the share code, your account and your clinic’s account will continuously share data between them. Remember, if you use a Dexcom receiver, you will need to upload it to CLARITY for the data to be up-to-date.
If your clinic does not have a Dexcom CLARITY clinic account, your healthcare professional can still view your data from the clarity.dexcom.com/professional page of CLARITY. You use the Dexcom CLARITY app to generate a sharing code requested.
Dexcom CLARITY is a web-based program that is available on both Mac and PC platforms. Computer and Internet requirements can be viewed at www.dexcom.com/clarity-requirements. Ensure you have selected “New Zealand”.

*Estimated A1C is only an estimate and does not replace the HbA1c test conducted by your healthcare professional. Dexcom CLARITY needs at least 12 days of sensor use with 80% or greater wear time to provide an estimated A1C. If “N/A” is displayed here, there is not enough data to estimate A1C.
